Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Louisiana is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems and related life safety products with minimal supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification (preferred), plus 2 years in the Fire Life Safety industry. You must be able to travel up to 90% locally and use field tools and Field Service Lightning to manage work orders.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification is required.
• 2 years of professional computer skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Program and maintain fire alarm systems and related components.
• Use test equipment and software to diagnose faults and update systems.
• Maintain safety procedures and documentation on work orders.
• Communicate with customers and track issues using Field Service Lightning.
