Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Minnesota seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to support government and public safety systems. You will deploy, optimize, and repair RF and IT infrastructure, work across engineering, PM, and customer service teams, and provide on-site support as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in LMR/RF/IT, strong LAN/WAN skills, and the ability to obtain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in LMR, RF systems, or IT systems.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain required security clearance.
• Willingness to work on-site in Minnesota and support 24/7 on-call operations.
• Familiarity with CJIS Security Policy and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for mission-critical digital communication systems and infrastructure.
• Deploy, optimize, test, and repair RF/IT networks and related hardware.
• Maintain documentation, preventive maintenance, and performance trend analysis.
• Develop solutions for complex system issues during maintenance or upgrades.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, PM, and Customer Service teams.
• Deliver weekly activity and accomplishment reports.
