Job summary

Chronicle Heritage is seeking Experienced Field Technicians to support archaeological work in the Baltimore, MD area. You will assist the Field Director and Project Team in pedestrian surveys, monitoring, testing, and site delineation, on a full-time hourly basis.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in archaeology/anthropology or related field, field school completion or equivalent experience, and at least 4 months of survey fieldwork with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related field.
• Field school completion or equivalent field experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform pedestrian surveys and record archaeological sites.
• Assist Field Director with monitoring, testing and site delineation.
• Support project team with field documentation and reporting.
