Job summary

The City of Doral seeks an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to perform journeyman-level repairs and routine upkeep across city facilities. This full-time, on-call 24/7 role requires flexibility, reliable problem-solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems, document work orders, and assist vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years in Facility Maintenance.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, mechanical, electrical and carpentry fields.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and identify repairs and improvements.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Repair floors, walls, ceilings and install/repair fixtures.
• Assist in servicing air conditioning equipment and routine HVAC PMs.
• Operate power tools and building controls; document work orders.
• Provide records of work performed and report status of tasks.
