Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years in apartment maintenance or related field.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; HVAC/plumbing/electrical experience.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Complete work orders promptly and close within 24 hours using Yardi.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (paint, clean, repairs).
• Respond to emergency on-call repairs and after-hours; weekend work required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Maintain safety, PPE, and clean working environment; follow safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and document maintenance activities; daily rounds.
• Interact professionally with residents, contractors, and vendors; support company values.
• Collaborate with property management to resolve maintenance issues.
