Job summary

The Scion Group is hiring a Facilities Technician to support maintenance and turnover of resident apartments. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and supply requests, ensuring the safety and functionality of the property's buildings and equipment.

A strong customer-service approach and reliable follow-through are essential. This role operates in a fast-paced, on-site environment with opportunities to impact resident satisfaction through timely and professional work.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures with a safety-conscious attitude.
• Ability to travel when required.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or more and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks and repairs to minimize liability.
• Complete daily assignments and document work and materials used.
• Assist in handling service requests and scheduling.
• Create legible notes with dates, materials used, and follow-up needs.
• Support residents and staff with a positive attitude.
• Perform basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and lighting tasks.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
