Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair our student housing properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, prep apartments for turnovers, and ensure safety and functionality of buildings and equipment while delivering strong service to residents.

This fast-paced, collegiate environment requires a service orientation, reliable follow-through, and the ability to handle after-hours and weekend emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Able to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's physical condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks and basic repairs to ensure timely turnover.
• Document work performed and supplies used with notes and signatures.
• Provide excellent resident and staff relations.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical repairs.
