Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to maintain and repair property assets, respond to service requests, and perform preventive maintenance. This role supports safety, functionality, and superior service for residents in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

You will complete routine maintenance, assist with turnovers, document work, and coordinate with management to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
Excellent communication and safety-conscious attitude.
Valid driver's license; willingness to travel as needed.
Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize liability.
Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities team.
Complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in completing service requests and document work performed.
Promote positive relations with residents, staff, contractors, and management.
Carry out basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical and lighting tasks to prepare apartments.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
Perform routine cleaning at repair location or shop.
