Job summary

Tigua-Inc is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks at multiple land port facilities near Sierra Vista, AZ. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building components, while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires ability to pass a government background check and drug screening, with on-call weekend support and travel to ports of entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of basic electrical, mechanical and computer technology experience.
• Comfort reading blueprints and schematics; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues for timely resolutions.
• Conduct monthly preventive maintenance to identify problems and mitigate risks.
