Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Independent Contractor for the Response Division to support on-call missions. Candidates must deploy within 24–72 hours of notice and remain on-site for at least 30 days during activations.

Responsibilities include guiding clients, producing SITREPs and IAPs, and coordinating with partner agencies. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience, NIMS ICS training, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; relevant field preferred.
• NIMS ICS All-Hazards training or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on client tempo.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative guidance translating regulations into actionable strategies.
• Develop incident deliverables: SITREPs, work plans, and documents meeting scope of work.
• Act as liaison between partners and leadership; provide status updates during response.
• Create incident action plans (IAPs) and translate high-level strategy into tasks.
