Job summary

WSP USA is seeking On Call Emergency Managers in Florida for deployment to disaster areas nationwide. Positions are on-call cadre, requiring 30-day commitments and readiness to deploy on short notice, often 24–48 hours.

Duties include logistics, procurement, and project management within Emergency Management; no standard benefits for cadre members. Travel to disaster sites is required, and candidates must pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management or equivalent.
• 5+ years of emergency management experience; city, county, district or state-level experience preferred.
• Prior project procurement/administrative experience in Emergency Management; broad knowledge of ERP, Oracle, SAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study - Professional Development Series certification.
• Travel required; deploy to disaster area with little or no advance notice, potentially up to 30 days.
• Must complete and pass WSP Motor Vehicle screening.
• Uphold workplace safety and adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Emergency Management team in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery nationwide.
• Deploy to Emergency Operations Center and Field Staging Area before, during, and after disasters.
• Perform logistics, supply, cost/documentation, and resource unit duties.
• Attend periodic training to maintain deployment eligibility.
• Assist with Emergency Management project management functions.
• Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Fulfill additional duties as required by business needs.
