Job summary

WSP USA is seeking On-Call Emergency Managers with procurement experience for deployment to disaster zones across the U.S. Cadre positions are on an as-needed basis with no benefits and typical 30-day commitments.

Deployments may require 24-48 hours' notice, with 8-12 hour days and 7 days/week during active periods. You will support the Emergency Management team, engaging in logistics, procurement, cost documentation, and project management functions while maintaining ethical conduct and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in emergency management or equivalent.
5+ years of emergency management experience; state/local experience preferred.
Experience with procurement/administration in Emergency Management and ERP systems.
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel.
FEMA EMI - Professional Development Series certification.
Travel to disaster areas with short notice and long deployments.

Responsibilities

Support Emergency Management team servicing clients before, during, and after disasters nationwide.
Deploy to Emergency Operations Center or Field Staging Area as needed.
Handle logistics, supply, cost documentation, and resource unit functions.
Attend periodic training to maintain deployment eligibility.
Support Emergency Management Project Management functions.
Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and corporate policies.
