Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in sonography.
• Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) or CCI credential within 1 year.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures (M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color Flow) to obtain diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians in Cath/EP labs by performing echocardiography for complex procedures.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and adapt imaging to ensure quality results.
• Document findings and communicate clinically relevant information to staff.
• Maintain equipment and records; ensure age-appropriate patient care.
