Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking a cardiac sonographer to operate echocardiography equipment and obtain high-quality heart images. You will work with physicians and patients, ensuring accurate data collection while maintaining professional patient interactions.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Applied Science or related field and ARDMS RDCS certification, or the candidate must obtain within 24 months of hire. On-site duties with regular on-call rotation are included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• RDCS/ARDMS certification required or to be obtained within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform echocardiography procedures to obtain two-dimensional and M-mode images.
• Interact with patients and health team members with professionalism and compassion.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in test performance for Cardiac/Acute Myocardial Infarction populations.
