Job summary

WSP USA is expanding its On-Call Emergency Management Recovery Cadre and seeks qualified On-Call Emergency Managers to support disaster recovery operations nationwide. Candidates must be available to travel with short notice and deploy anywhere in the United States.

This is not a full-time role and is project-dependent. Selected candidates will lead and mentor recovery teams, manage grant compliance, and build client relationships throughout the recovery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in Emergency Management or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related concentration.
• Extensive knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead disaster recovery operations for clients, directing teams through all recovery phases.
• Deploy to Emergency Operations Centers and field sites to lead recovery work and serve as client liaison.
• Supervise recovery staff across logistics, cost documentation, and resource management.
