Responsibilities

• Learn food service routine quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip and wash returned trays.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temp of dishwasher at shift start.
• Observe dishwasher water temperature during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Carry out trash and dispose of garbage.
• Store groceries safely and neatly.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary for cooks/dietary supervisor.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
• Collaborate with personnel across departments.
