Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Technician to maintain and repair cranes at customer locations. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades, with on-call and after-hours duties as required.

Safety is paramount; the position may require travel and work at various heights. You will coordinate with Service/Branch Managers to schedule daily work and participate in company trainings and programs as needed.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Commitment to working safely at all times.
• Willingness to work at various heights.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• On-call and after-hours services as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work daily.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely; notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Maintain the ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Attend trainings and seminars as required.
• Participate in the HCSG 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
