Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. is seeking a Technician to service and repair cranes in field locations, with on-call duties and after-hours availability to meet customer needs.

The role involves troubleshooting, inspecting, and upgrading hoists and cranes, performing OSHA inspections, and coordinating with supervisors to schedule daily work. Lifting up to 50–100 lbs, climbing, and travel are required daily.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete daily work.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
