Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. is seeking a Technician/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair cranes in customer sites. The role requires availability for on-call and after-hours or weekend service depending on customer needs and emergencies.

You will troubleshoot, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes, perform OSHA inspections, and coordinate with managers to schedule daily work while ensuring safe operations and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years crane experience in an industrial facility
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights
• Vocational/Technical training certificate preferred
• Some electrical and mechanical knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports
• Communicate with Service/Branch Manager to schedule daily work
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely; report deficiencies
• Attend trainings and seminars as required
• Perform on-call and after-hours services as needed
• Other duties as assigned
