Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician specializing in cranes to perform maintenance and repair at customer sites. The role requires on-call availability, after-hours and weekend service as needed to meet customers.

You will troubleshoot, inspect, and upgrade hoists and cranes in the field and prepare inspection reports. The position operates in a safety-first environment; you must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, with 20–50% travel

Qualifications

• 0–2 years crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to communicate well and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• On-call availability and after-hours services as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading hoists and cranes in the field.
• Perform OSHA-required hoist and crane inspections and generate reports.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work.
• Operate tools and vehicles safely; report deficiencies.
• Attend trainings and participate in company programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
