Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Technician, a heavy equipment mechanic who specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes. The role involves field service, on‑call availability, and after‑hours or weekend coverage as needed to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes at customer locations, plus performing OSHA inspections and reporting. A valid license and safety‑mocused approach are required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete work daily.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner; notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Attend trainings and participate in company programs as required.
