Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a heavy equipment technician to maintain and repair cranes and hoists in the field. The role requires on-call availability and after-hour work as needed to meet customer demands.

Ideal candidates will have up to 2 years crane experience in an industrial setting, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work safely at heights while using basic computer skills. Team collaboration and ongoing training are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Must be on-call and provide after hour services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete daily work.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Notify supervisor of any deficiencies.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Attend company trainings and seminars as required.
• Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned
