Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. is seeking a Technician who specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes and hoists. The role involves field work, on-call duties, and after-hours service to meet customer needs.

The technician will troubleshoot, inspect, and upgrade equipment at customer sites, perform OSHA inspections, and coordinate daily scheduling with management. A safety-first mindset and the ability to travel to various branches is required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hour services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA-required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule daily work.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Attend trainings and seminars and participate in the 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
