Job summary

State of Washington, Department of Corrections, seeks a Registered Nurse 2 (On-Call) for Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in Connell, WA. The on-call RN2 will support correctional health services across shifts, providing essential nursing care within a secure facility.

Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessments, medication administration, care coordination with the health services team, and adherence to confidentiality and policies.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license.
• One year RN experience in relevant setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a correctional setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately.
• Coordinate with Health Services team to plan care.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of health records.
• Cover diverse shifts including days, evenings, and nights.
