Mosholu Parkway Nursing Home is seeking an On-Call Cook to join our Dietary Services team. The Cook will prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for residents while following menus, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include cooking per recipes, maintaining sanitation, storing and labeling food, monitoring temperatures, and assisting with meal service. Flexible on-call shifts including weekends and holidays; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; nursing home, healthcare, or institutional food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and available for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
