Mosholu Parkway Nursing Home in New York is seeking an On-Call Cook to join our Dietary Services team. The Cook will prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for residents while following established menus, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.

The successful candidate will work on-call shifts, maintain a clean kitchen, and support meal service while ensuring compliance with safety policies and quality standards. This role is part of our dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; nursing home, healthcare, or institutional food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and available for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
