Job summary

Windy City Equipment (WCE, Inc) in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration & Food Equipment Technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling systems. You will work independently in the field with dispatch and fellow techs, document work with video, and explain issues clearly to customers to build trust.

EPA Certification and 3+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial refrigeration or food equipment service experience with solid troubleshooting.
• EPA Certification.
• Comfortable running after-hours and weekend emergency calls when it's your turn on-call.
• Professionalism and clear customer communication.
• Able to work independently, but able to tag-team when needed.
• Treats customers with respect, keeps them informed, and makes their problem your mission.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling.
• Work independently in the field but stay aligned with dispatch, parts, and fellow techs.
• Use work-order video on every job to document, educate, and build trust.
• Close the loop on quotes, clearly explaining issues and solutions to keep customers informed.
• Leave every job site better than you found it.
• Diagnose and repair hot-side equipment such as fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, and dish machines.
