Job summary

WCE is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration & Food Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling in commercial settings. You will work in the field, coordinate with dispatch, and document every job with video and clear notes.

You must have 3+ years in service, be comfortable with after-hours calls, communicate clearly with customers, and hold EPA certification. CFESA or OEM certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial Refrigeration or Food Equipment service field experience with solid troubleshooting.
• Comfortable running after-hours and weekend emergency calls when it's your turn on-call
• Professionalism and clear customer communication
• Brings a "whatever it takes" attitude to the job site
• Can work independently, but knows how to tag-team when the situation calls for it
• Treats customers with respect, keeps them informed, and makes their problem your mission
• EPA Certification

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling
• Work independently in the field - but stay tight with dispatch, parts, and fellow techs
• Use work-order video on every job to document, educate, and build trust
• Close the loop on quotes, clearly explaining issues and solutions to keep customers informed
• Leave every job site better than you found it
• Diagnose and repair hot-side: fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, dish machines
