Job summary

WCE seeks an experienced Commercial Refrigeration & Food Equipment Technician to service walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and cooking equipment. You will work in the field, independently yet coordinated with dispatch and peers to ensure timely, quality service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial refrigeration or food equipment service with solid troubleshooting.
• Willing to be on-call for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling.
• Work independently in the field, coordinating with dispatch and fellow techs.
• Use work-order video on every job to document, educate, and build trust.
• Close the loop on quotes, clearly explaining issues and solutions to keep customers informed.
• Leave every job site better than you found it.
• Diagnose and repair hot-side: fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, dish machines.

What You’ll Do

We need an experienced Commercial Refrigeration & Food Equipment Technician who will:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and line cooling
• Work independently in the field - but stay tight with dispatch, parts, and fellow techs
• Use work-order video on every job to document, educate, and build trust
• Close the loop on quotes, clearly explaining issues and solutions to keep customers informed
• Leave every job site better than you found it
• Diagnose and repair hot-side: fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, dish machines

Must-Haves

• 3+ years Commercial Refrigeration or Food Equipment service field experience with solid troubleshooting
• Comfortable running after-hours and weekend emergency calls when it's your turn on-call
• Professionalism and clear customer communication
• Brings a "whatever it takes" attitude to the job site
• Can work independently, but knows how to tag-team when the situation calls for it
• Treats customers with respect, keeps them informed, and makes their problem your mission
• EPA Certification
