Job summary

Outside In is seeking a Clinic Support Specialist to join our Portland team and provide essential patient intake, onboarding, and insurance verification responsibilities. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to support diverse clients.

The on-site role covers duties across medical office coordination, patient registration, and EMR data entry, with opportunities to assist outreach at our school-based health center. Proficiency in Epic and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bilingual spoken English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication and front desk skills.
• Ability to handle crises and high patient volumes.
• Strong reception and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Medical office coordination and front desk support.
• Oversee patient intake and registration for shifts.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Assist with MyChart navigation and EMR data entry.
