Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking a Program Aide On-Call to support infants, toddlers, and preschool children across program sites. The role involves classroom assistance, kitchen and janitorial duties, and travel to various sites as needed.

You will help with daily activities while ensuring child safety and adherence to program standards. The position requires 18+ years, a HS diploma or GED, and basic first aid/CPR within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at minimum 18 years of age.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Certification as applicable by Head Start or child care regulations.
• Within 90 days of employment, obtain basic first aid and pediatric CPR certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of working with infants, toddlers and preschool children.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to relate to children and communicate with staff and families.
• Follow directions and take initiative.
• Maintain confidentiality of families.
• Able to work with children with disabilities.
