Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures (M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color Flow) and obtain measurements for accurate interpretation.
• Identify and define cardiac abnormalities and extend examination appropriately.
• Prepare patients and obtain clinical history to tailor imaging for diagnostic echocardiograms.
• Assist in transesophageal studies with cardiologist and sterilize probes.
• Record statistics and maintain Echocardiography Lab equipment, reporting malfunctions.
