Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school that includes an accredited Sonography program.
• RDCS-AE or RCS eligibility and registration within specified timeline.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months, if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound (M-mode, 2‑D, Doppler, Color Flow) and measurements to obtain diagnostic results.
• Identify cardiac abnormalities and guide appropriate extensions of examinations.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and tailor imaging for accurate echocardiograms.
• Assist in transesophageal studies with cardiologists and sterilize equipment.
