Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• This position is designed for recent graduates and/or those new to the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with department protocols and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Document exam results and charge codes; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural techniques.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and communicate patient needs to physicians.
