Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school includes an accredited sonography program.
• No experience required.
• Cardiac Sonographer RDCS-AE or RCS within 1 year/6 months depending on credentialing bodies.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic Doppler, M-mode, 2-D and Color Flow Doppler echocardiography with high-quality imaging.
• Identify cardiac abnormalities and extend examination as needed.
• Prepare patients, collect history and ensure appropriate imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
• Assist in transesophageal studies and coordinate with cardiologists.
• Maintain lab equipment and record statistics.
