Job summary

Ozark Center is seeking Emergency TAR Staff to provide direct and ongoing supervision for children and adolescents within the program. Staff are on-call and work under the In-Charge Person to ensure safety, continuity of care, and responsive coverage according to program policies.

Responsibilities include day-to-day care, documentation, professional interaction with residents, and adherence to trauma-informed care principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, day-to-day care, supervision, and support for children and adolescents residing in the program.
• Maintain safety and well-being of residents by actively supervising youth and responding to behavioral, emotional, or safety concerns.
• Follow direction from the In-Charge Person to meet immediate supervision, coverage, or operational needs.
• Interact with residents in a warm, respectful, and professional manner that communicates empathy, hope, and consistency.
• Assist with routine daily activities, structure, and programming within the cottage or assigned area.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and required information according to program policies.
• Comply with all safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and client rights standards.
• Model appropriate behavior and maintain professional boundaries with residents at all times.
