Book Cadillac Detroit is seeking a Banquets Server - On-Call to support our Banquets department during weddings, corporate events, and other gatherings. You will provide attentive food and beverage service, including bartending support, and help ensure guest satisfaction across upscale events.

This on-call role requires flexibility, a minimum of one shift per month, and the ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs while setting up and breaking down banquet spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service or banquet service preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Commitment to minimum one on-call shift per month.
• Strong communication and guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25–30 lbs during setup and service.

Responsabilités

• Deliver courteous, professional food and beverage service during banquets and events.
• Perform bartending duties in alignment with hotel standards and responsible service practices.
• Set up and break down banquet rooms, including place settings, linens, glassware, and stations.
• Collaborate with Banquets and Catering staff to ensure smooth event execution.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, stations, and bar setups throughout events.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns with a positive attitude.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including alcohol service procedures.
• Support banquet captains and supervisors with additional tasks as needed.
