Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server (Casual On-Call) at Crescent Court Dallas in Uptown. You will assist the Club Manager by serving guests during banquets and events, ensuring a positive guest experience.

The role requires hotel or food service background, a willingness to pitch in with teammates, and the ability to stand for long periods while delivering attentive service.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
• Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room after function to readiness for the next event.
