Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is hiring for a Banquet service role at our Texas resort. You will assist the Banquet Manager, set up banquet spaces, greet guests, and ensure a high standard of service throughout events.

Candidates should have hotel experience, be a team player, and understand food and beverage service standards. This role requires physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to pitch in and be a team player.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and serviceware.
• Effective communication abilities with different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience.
• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware, glassware as instructed.
• Attend roll call meetings to learn function details and expectations.
• Greet guests, respond to requests, and ensure timely service.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate alcohol service requirements.
• Reset banquet room for next function after completion.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
