Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking an On-Call Banquets server to join our dynamic banquets team. Banquet servers provide exceptional guest service, illustrate knowledge of food and beverage menu items and provide information regarding preparation methods to guests.

What you will bring includes ServSafe and RSV permits; experience in banquets is preferred; and the ability to work harmoniously with others.

Qualifications

• ServSafe and RSV permits are required.
• Food and Beverage experience, specifically in banquets, is preferred.
• Ability to work harmoniously with others.

Responsibilities

• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection's origin, taste, and preparation; communicate orders to the Banquet Manager or kitchen; check completed kitchen orders against the original order; transport items to the guest table.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
