Job summary

Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans seeks a Banquet Casual Waiter for on-call shifts. You will interact with guests to ensure a memorable dining and meeting experience, maintaining a welcome, comfortable and attentive environment throughout events.

You will set up rooms per BEOs, manage service flow, assist with equipment, and uphold high safety/cleanliness standards while delivering beverages and courses with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• 1+ year of server or Food & Beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at shift start to ensure room is set as contracted.
• Prepare rooms for use and adjust lighting, sound, and temperature prior to guest arrival.
• Assist in keeping events on schedule and communicate updates to the team.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in banquet areas.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver food and beverages to tables.
