Job summary

The Langham, Boston is seeking a Banquets Server to join a passionate team that delivers high standards in food quality, guest experience and colleague engagement while aligning with Langham Hospitality Group values.

Responsibilities include setting up tables, inspecting service items, serving courses and beverages, resolving banquet-related issues, cleaning banquet areas, and coordinating with management and kitchen staff to meet dietary needs and service standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior banquets and food & beverage /hospitality experience required.
Standing 90% of shift and ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper set-up for all tables and buffets in assigned meeting rooms.
Inspect linen, silver, china, glassware and other table items for cleanliness and appearance.
Serve food, coffee, water and other beverages to customers as required on the banquet event order.
Resolve complaints in regards to banquet functions in a timely, positive and professional manner.
Clean banquet room and banquet area during and after banquet functions.
Follow health and safety procedures according to hotel specifications.
Work well in a team atmosphere and independently.
Communicate with Banquet Management daily and coordinate with Chef on dietary restrictions.
