Job summary

Hireology is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service for resort events, including weddings, conferences, and social gatherings. You will set up banquet rooms, prepare service stations, and maintain high guest satisfaction while upholding resort standards.

The role requires strong customer service, professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work with banquet captains and kitchen staff to ensure seamless event execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Food Handler and/or alcohol service certification preferred, as required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and banquet event specifications.
• Prepare tables, linens, place settings, glassware, and service stations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve service issues courteously.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with event breakdown and room reset after functions.
• Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage selections, and event details.
• Handle equipment and supplies responsibly and report maintenance concerns.
• Adhere to resort policies, procedures, and service standards.
