Job summary

Limelight Hotels is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server/Bartender to set up, serve, and break down events. You will deliver prompt, courteous service of food and beverages to guests at banquets and outdoor functions, reporting to the Director of Banquets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of serving, bartending or food & beverage experience required.
• 1 year advanced beverage knowledge preferred.
• TIPS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest requests in a warm, friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain positive communication with kitchen personnel.
• Ensure guests satisfaction and inform Banquet Manager of guest comments and complaints.
• Serve guests food and beverage according to standards of performance.
• Set tables and check table setup according to standards.
• Maintain care and cleanliness of serving equipment; handle china, glass and silver to avoid breakage.
• Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management.
• Reset function rooms and perform side duties as assigned.
