Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking a Banquet Server to support banquet operations across events and functions. You will participate in setup, service and breakdown while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

Applicants should have strong food and beverage knowledge, a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays, and a team-oriented mindset to uphold Four Seasons standards.

Formación

• Strong food and beverage knowledge required.
• Bartending skills are a plus and beneficial.

• Breaks down and sets up tables, buffets and beverage stations.

• Works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.

Key Elements of the Job

• Participates in the service, setup and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions
• Maintains knowledge of menu items to be able to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals along with receptions
• Communicates guest orders including any special needs, dietary restrictions or requests to the kitchen
• Delivers food and beverage to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure food quality
• Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly with utmost care and attention
• Ascertains satisfaction and offers suggestions in enhancing the guest experience
• Breakdowns, cleans and set-up of tables, food buffets and beverage stations
• Ensures Four Seasons service standards of excellence are achieved
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Strong food & beverage knowledge is required
• Food Handler Card and MAST Alcohol Permit is required at time of hire
• Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline
• Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays
• Banquet experience preferred
• Bartending skills is a plus
• Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
• Strong work ethic which includes a drive to grow, improve and learn everyday
• Energetic approach to his/her craft
• Calm composure under pressure
