Job summary

Opal Collection is seeking an on-call banquet server to join our events team in Florida. You will deliver exceptional food and beverage service and ensure flawless banquet set-ups per the BEO for a variety of events.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (not required) and prior serving experience. Join a team that values guests and supports your flexibility for event-based hours across resort operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service and exude a passion for events
• Ensures complete accuracy of banquet set-up per the BEO including tables, linen, glassware, cutlery, centerpieces, food and bar stations, and miscellaneous décor
• Help set up breaks, buffets, drink stations, etc
• Responsible for helping refresh meeting rooms for next day
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
• Assist in breakdown of events including clearing and storing banquet tables, cleaning service stations, bringing used glassware and cutlery to the dishwasher, etc.
