Job summary

Hilton Fairfax is seeking a friendly and reliable On Call Banquet Server to join the team. You will set up and breakdown event spaces and serve foods and beverages with courteous professionalism.

Position is on-call/part-time with an hourly rate of $15 plus banquet gratuities. Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and good English communication. Ability to move through event spaces and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Ability to communicate in English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Must be able to move around event spaces and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of event space per BEO.
• Serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Located in the hotel lobby, Nova Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner offering traditional comfort dishes blending Virginia and Mid-Atlantic influences.The Hilton Fairfax is looking for a friendly and reliable On Call Banquet Server to join the team. Banquet Servers are responsible the set up and breakdown of the event space according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) and serving food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.Hourly rate for this position is $15/hour plus banquet gratuities.Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.Must be able to move throughout the event spaces to serve and/or replenish foodMust be able to stand for long periods at a time
