Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of banquet experience in an upscale environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Skilled in the use of techniques and strategies required to deliver training material in group and one-on-one settings.
• Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol based on applicable state law.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute banquet operations in accordance with standard operating procedures to care for guests promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate and provide work direction for banquet personnel; hold pre-function briefings and assign stations.
• Ensure quality service by managing servers and ensuring attention to guests.
• Work with kitchen to coordinate cooking, food presentation and delivery times.
• Complete dish and food requisitions and supervise sanitation and equipment handling.
• Provide training and ongoing feedback to staff; maintain guest satisfaction.
