Job summary

Terracon in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking an Archaeology Field Technician to support surveys, testing and excavations while adhering to safety standards. You will conduct fieldwork under supervision, identify artifacts and stratigraphy, record data, maintain equipment and communicate findings to the Crew Chief.

Qualifications include a BA in Archaeology/Anthropology or related field, field school completion, and GPS/MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
• Completion of an archaeological field school from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of artifact identification, soils, and stratigraphy.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
• Able to use Global Positioning Systems.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
