Job summary

Paragon Properties, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for Lakeside Village Apartments in Sterling Heights, MI to keep our community in top working order.

You will handle maintenance requests, perform basic drywall, painting, carpentry, troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems, and respond to after-hours emergencies. A HVAC certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on maintenance experience
• Strong customer service ethic
• Emergency maintenance on call; after-hours weekends and holidays
• HVAC Type II or Universal preferred and basic heating/cooling repairs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Handle maintenance requests to high quality standards
• Prepare apartment units for occupancy (drywall, painting, rough carpentry)
• Ensure property integrity and curb appeal; report liabilities or improvements
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, pool/spa and HVAC equipment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College/trade school preferred
